Moles can sometimes be one of the most frustrating yard pest to deal with. There are numerous gimmicks on the market that simply don't work. The moles natural behavior makes it appear as though they work for awhile but they almost always come back. Trapping is the only long term solution to mole problems.

Mole Facts

  • Moles can tunnel 60' to 300' a day depending on soil type
  • Moles diets consist of more than just grubs. Earth worms and insects make up a huge part of a moles diet.
  • Moles spend a great deal of time in deeper tunnels we can't see, giving the impression that they have left or that poisons have worked. They will return!
  • Gum, moth balls, and human hair are all myths. They will not repel moles.  
  • A 5 ounce mole will consume 45-50 lbs of worms and insects each year.
  • Moles can dig surface tunnels at approximately 18 feet/hour.
  • Moles travel through existing tunnels at about 80 feet/minute.
  • Moles contain twice as much blood and twice as much hemoglobin as other mammals of similar size. This allows moles to breathe more easily in underground environments with low oxygen.
Animal Removal Solutions offers several options for dealing with moles depending on the size of the property and degree of infestation. We charge $150 for inspection/set-up and the first mole. Then it is $50 for every mole  after that.  Special pricing is available for large infestations and large properties as well.
